{"id":32245,"date":"2021-02-07T15:52:57","date_gmt":"2021-02-07T15:52:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/beacontower.io\/internet-of-things-vis-mig-pengene\/"},"modified":"2021-08-12T11:25:35","modified_gmt":"2021-08-12T11:25:35","slug":"internet-of-things-show-me-the-money","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/beacontower.io\/da\/internet-of-things-show-me-the-money\/","title":{"rendered":"Internet-of-Things: Show me the money!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I denne blog dykker vi ned i nye forretningsmodeller, der er direkte knyttet til introduktionen af \u200b\u200bIoT-produkter og -tjenester.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00f8rst introducerer vi et par tips til hvordan man identificerer de forretningsmuligheder, der skal forf\u00f8lges.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Indledende trin<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Vi anbefaler at raffinere de f\u00f8rste forretningsforuds\u00e6tninger og efterf\u00f8lgende de data der hentes, for at bekr\u00e6fte hypotesen. Desuden anbefaler vi, at der dannes en st\u00e6rk ramme for at konkludere, om projektet skal forts\u00e6ttes eller stoppes. Hold investeringen lav i de indledende eksperimentellefaser, og n\u00e5r et bevis for et v\u00e6rdifuldt business case er der, skal I finpudse de f\u00f8rste uklare mock-ups for fremtidig anvendelse. Det vigtigste er at l\u00e6re og mislykkes hurtigt.<\/p>\n<p>Et innovativt forretningsudviklingsteam vil hurtigt producere id\u00e9er gennem instinkt og indsigt, hvor digital viden kan muligg\u00f8re nye produkter og tjenester. Alternativt, kan eksisterende data unders\u00f8ges ved hj\u00e6lp af dygtige dataforskere til at f\u00e5 \u00f8je p\u00e5 mistede muligheder, der allerede eksisterer internt. Enhver id\u00e9, der er v\u00e6rd at teste, skal derefter afvises hurtigt, hvis den ikke er b\u00e6redygtig; jf. anbefalingen om at fejle hurtigt gennem de indledende fors\u00f8g, for at holde trit med andre konkurrenter, der udnytter lignende satsninger i det eksponentielle l\u00f8b om at vinde.<\/p>\n<p>Med andre ord: Tillad ikke, at R&amp;D bruger m\u00e5neder p\u00e5 at udvikle en ny og dedikeret l\u00f8sning; find i stedet inspiration fra den bedste praksis, der allerede findes, og kr\u00e6v at lappe de generiske byggesten sammen. Test funktionelle krav hurtigt ved hj\u00e6lp af Of-The-Shelf hardwaremoduler ved hj\u00e6lp af <em>standard interfaces<\/em> og standard softwarev\u00e6rkt\u00f8jer. Modularitet muligg\u00f8r udskiftning af enhver komponent, der skaber flaskehalse til det \u00f8nskede forretningseksperiment.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Forretningsmodeller <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/beacontower.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/business-models.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Forretningsmodeller, der er v\u00e6rdifulde for en forretningsvertikal, kan v\u00e6re anvendelige p\u00e5 tv\u00e6rs af helt forskellige omr\u00e5der. Nyere forskning tyder p\u00e5, at en omfattende liste over forretningsmodelm\u00f8nstre vil d\u00e6kke st\u00f8rstedelen af \u200b\u200bkonventionelle forretningsomr\u00e5der. M\u00f8nstrene er gentagende gange blevet anerkendt som tilbagevendende m\u00f8nstre i sektorer med kemikalier, byggev\u00e6rkt\u00f8jer, maskiner, elektricitetsm\u00e5ling, software, lydteknologi, sundhedspleje, telekom osv.<\/p>\n<p>IoT-teknologier tilbyder helt nye forretningsmodeller, der ogs\u00e5 g\u00e6lder i n\u00e6sten enhver industri, som kan bruges i kombination med traditionelle forretningsmodeller. Til inspiration introducerer vi f\u00f8lgende forretningsmodeller fra en gruppe forskere fra St. Gallen University i Schweiz kombineret med et par virkelige eksempler:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Physical freemium:<\/strong> Fysiske produkter der s\u00e6lges med gratis digital service (f.eks. Gratis apps og softwareopdateringer); det forventes, at nogle kunder vil v\u00e6re villige til at betale ekstra for premium-tjenester. Det oprindelige 100koll-projekt fra E.ON er et godt eksempel p\u00e5 denne forretningsmodel, hvor en fysisk enhed blev leveret gratis til kunderne, og hvor der senere hen kunne k\u00f8bes ekstra tjenester af kunderne.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Digital add-on:<\/strong> Fysiske produkter s\u00e6lges (nogle gange) billigt, men kunder kan k\u00f8be\/aktivere forskellige digitale tjenester med h\u00f8je margener (f.eks. softwareprogrammer og yderligere funktioner). Et eksempel er Teslas &#8220;Acceleration Boost&#8221;, hvor en kunde tilbydes at k\u00f8be en softwareopdatering, der \u00f8ger bilens acceleration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Digital lock-in:<\/strong> Fysiske produkter er beskyttet til brug sammen med andre digitale tjenester via et sensorbaseret digitalt h\u00e5ndtryk for at begr\u00e6nse kompatibilitet, forhindre forfalskning osv. Eksemplerne her er mange, da denne forretningsmodel afspejler mange virksomheders intuitive m\u00e5de at forsvare deres forretning og IP p\u00e5. John Deere har tidligere v\u00e6ret et firma, der havde et lukket og meget begr\u00e6nset digitalt \u00f8kosystem. Dette har dog \u00e6ndret sig i l\u00f8bet af de sidste 5 \u00e5r, hvor mange virksomheder nu leverer \u00e5bne API&#8217;er og endda \u00e5bne \u00f8kosystemer for at skabe mere v\u00e6rdi for sine kunder ved at lade tredjeparter tilf\u00f8je tjenester til kundeoplevelsen, og derved skabe nye muligheder for tilbagevendende indt\u00e6gter, og i en vis grad i praksis ved at skabe et digitalt lock-in ved at levere et omfattende \u00f8kosystem.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Product as point of sales<\/strong> Fysiske produkter tilbyder digitale salgs- og marketingtjenester; kunden kan forbruge indholdet enten direkte eller via <em>smarte<\/em> enheder (dvs. tablets, telefoner). Selve produktet er nu et salgssted, og kan bringe noget helt andet til kunden, der er langt v\u00e6k fra dets kernetilbud. De bedste eksempler er de smarte h\u00f8jttalere fra Amazon og Google, hvor h\u00f8jttaleren har mange forskellige tilf\u00f8jede tjenester fra en salgskanal til web-butikker og hub til det intelligente hjem, ved at udnytte magten af <em>cloud-back-end<\/em> via talegenkendelse. Prisen p\u00e5 selve produktet er muligvis ikke den st\u00f8rste indt\u00e6gtskilde, men de tjenester og produkter, der bestilles via produktets salgssted, bliver i stedet en regelm\u00e6ssig indt\u00e6gtsstr\u00f8m.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Object self-service:<\/strong> Fysiske produkter kan selv placere ordrer online. For eksempel bestiller et varmesystem automatisk og uafh\u00e6ngigt olie til at genopfylde tanken. Det er forbrugerprodukter, som medicinsk udstyr, der bruger forbrugsvarer og industriprodukter med sliddele, der nu har intelligens til at opdage mangler og automatisk bestille forbrugsvarer eller reservedele, som n\u00f8dvendigt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Remote usage and condition monitoring:<\/strong> Fysiske produkter kan overf\u00f8re data om deres brug, status eller milj\u00f8, og derved skabe en digital enhed af selve produktet. Denne digitale enhed giver kunden let tilg\u00e6ngelige og forst\u00e5elige data om produktets tilstand, som kan bruges til at planl\u00e6gge produktionen. Dette digitale lag repr\u00e6senterer nu en ny regelm\u00e6ssig indt\u00e6gtsstr\u00f8m, og hvis det g\u00f8res rigtigt, fungerer det som et beskyttende hegn, der forhindrer kunden i at skifte leverand\u00f8r. Vestas har gjort det s\u00e6rligt godt p\u00e5 dette omr\u00e5de, og de har nu h\u00f8jere indt\u00e6gter fra supportvirksomheden end fra ny-salg af vindm\u00f8ller.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sensor as a service:<\/strong> Data i sig selv er den vigtigste ressource og prim\u00e6re valuta, der produceres fra IoT-produktet &#8211; delt og handlet inden for IoT-\u00f8kosystemet. Dette er en debatteret forretningsmodel, som har skabt stor interesse. Det tapper ind i <em>&#8220;data er den nye olie&#8221; -mantraet<\/em>, der blev\/er skubbet af mange teknologivirksomheder og ledelseskonsulentfirmaer. Sandheden er dog, at det er sv\u00e6rt at finde en forretningsmodel, hvor en virksomhed kan tillade at s\u00e6lge data til tredjeparter, som de selv eller dens kunder genererer.
